We found Scott to be brilliant at managing the project and have workers and sub-contractors lined up so that no project time was wasted. We were 80% through our new house build when we decided getting a pool would complement our outdoor setting nicely. With Christmas fast approaching we spoke to Owen and the team at Mayfair Pools in Christchurch (Shearings) about the possibility of getting a pool in designed to meet our needs but somewhat unrealistically also in before Christmas. The team at Shearings couldn't have been more helpful, assisting us with design and placement ideas as well as ensuring we had all the information we needed to proceed with an inground (built) swimming pool. We had a challenge that Mayfair delivered on with exceptional skill. We wanted an 8m by 4m pool built into an existing patio area, using the existing patio pavers so that the pool always looked as if it had been in the spot. We also had a gradient on the patio to allow for rainfall. We spoke to 3 different pool companies and had 3 home visits. From the minute Owen from Mayfair visited us he gave us confidence that he and Mayfair Pools would look after our project and to a very high standard. Mayfair were also the only company to recognise the difficult challenge of our existing patio.
From the first handshake to the last, all the staff from Mayfair Pools were a pleasure to deal with. They left the site clean and tidy each day. They worked as a team and were fun to have around. They accommodated every question we asked and never left us wondering what was happening next. Mayfair has now completed 2 wonderful pools for my family. I found the team to be friendly and professional on-site and they worked in well to ensure the job was completed in good time and with the least inconvenience possible. Care was taken to minimise any damage to surrounding property and plants, which is not always an easy undertaking in tricky areas with heavy machinery. Mayfair Pools Canterbury ( Shearing's) has recently undertaken a complete refurbishment of our old 1970's concrete pool to a beautiful fibreglass and tile pool.
